Frequently Ask Questions

Àrokò Farm and Resort is currently situated in Aiyetoro, Abeokuta (Ogun State) and Ado-Awaye, Ibadan (Oyo State), Nigeria.

We currently offer six clusters only:

  • Cocoa Estate
  • Palm Tree Plantation
  • Cashew Farm
  • Cash Crops Cluster (short-cycle farming like tomatoes
    & vegetables)
  • Livestock ( Poultry, fishing, goat, snails, rabbits)\
  • Ranch (Minimum of 5 acres for cattle, cow, horse etc)
  • Cocoa, Palm Tree, Cashew, Cash Crops: 1 acre minimum.
  • Livestock Ranch: 5 acres minimum (equivalent to 10 cows).

Yes. 3–6 months available on every cluster with 10% interest on the balance.

  • Defaults attract a penalty on the outstanding amount.
  • No default may exceed 6 months. After that, Àrokò may terminate your slot.
  • Any refund is processed only when an off-taker takesover your slot.

Only to Àrokò Farm & Resort’s official bank account. We do not accept payments to third parties, consultants, or personal accounts.

Your choice.

  • From day one, you can self-manage or use Àrokò’s team.
  • From year two, an annual service charge applies if you’re on Àrokò management.

No. Perennial clusters (Cocoa, Cashew, Palm) don’t need replanting once established.

Yes. Power is entirely from solar. No generators. Clean, quiet, dependable energy for farm and resort operations.

  • Minimum purchase: 5 acres
  • Stocking guidance is to avoid overgrazing; plan around ~2 cows per acre (example: 5 acres ≈ 10 cows; 10 acres ≈ 20
    cows). Final stocking is confirmed at allocation.
  • Livestock operations are strictly owner-managed; Àrokò does not run your herd for you.
  • Ranch service charge – 400,000 per Ranch annually.
  • Toggle ContentBefore cultivation begins: Refunds may be considered with a 30% deduction.
  • After cultivation begins: No refunds.
  • All refunds are processed only when an off-taker takes over your slot.
  • Allocation guarantee: if Àrokò fails to allocate within 6–12 months after full payment, you get a full refund + 30% interest.

Yes. Cassava falls under our Cash Crops Cluster. It’s reliable and high-yielding, with improved varieties like TME 419 and TMS 30572.a.

Yes. You may transfer or resell your land, but Àrokò must be notified for proper documentation and transfer processing.

We support cattle (minimum 5 acres ranch, from 10 cows upward), poultry (layers, broilers, cockerels), fish (catfish, tilapia), and pigs (Large White, Landrace, Duroc).

Yes. We comply with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023. Your information is used only for your subscription and its management.

Yes. We follow SCUML/AML regulations. Funds must come from lawful sources. KYC may be required.

Absolutely. You can book an inspection to Ayetoro Abeoukuta, Ogun State or Ado- Awaye Ibadan, Oyo State.

No, except for livestock and ranch clusters, which is fully self-serviced.

No, intercropping cassava with maize or other crops is not allowed unless you have received written permission from Aroko.

You can grow cash crops like:

  • Cocoa – premium export crop
  • Cashew – high-value cash crop
  • Palm Trees – long-term palm oil production
  • Cassava – versatile staple for food and industry
  • Maize (Corn) – fast-growing staple for food and feed
  • Tomatoes – profitable short-cycle vegetable
  • Carrots – high-demand vegetable crop
  • Peppers & Vegetables – steady income, multiple harvests

After full payment and allocation, you’ll receive within 24 hours of allocation:

  • Survey Plan
  • Allocation Letter
  • Deed of Assignment
  • You also get your Payment Receipt and Contract of Sale during the process.
  • If Àrokò manages: 30% of total harvest value goes to Àrokò.
  • If you self-manage: 5% (administration/estate fee).

No. Livestock is strictly managed by the owners. Àrokò provides the land, environment, and estate standards, but the buyer handles operations.

Farming depends on natural and economic factors (climate, pests, market prices). Àrokò employs modern techniques to minimize risks, but investors are strongly advised to obtain insurance for crops/livestock.

Standard stocking: 10 cows per 5 acres. Overgrazing is prohibited. A 100-acre ranch can accommodate 200 cows.
